I think that I’m proficient at striking up a conversation. Situational comedy where no one knows what to say never made sense to me, because there’s always something to talk about. As decent as I may be, I was greatly overshadowed by someone else.
I awoke with that Monday blues, doubt plaguing me and making dreams seem preferable to the new day. The gloom of a rainy day didn’t help draw out my enthusiasm, nor did the incredibly late night previous allow for a feeling of refreshing. No, today was one of those days of choice. My second time walking the mile to the YMCA today (today being Wednesday) was in the evening. They were holding weekly Financial Peace University-based sessions and tonight was the last, even though I attended my first last Wednesday. The walk was calming and always helps me feel more at home in the city, but the session’s topic on investment was the focus of my thoughts, especially the walk home.
